Resicom Expands Headquarters

Resicom has entered into a leasing agreement that will increase office capacity by 30%, warehouse space is doubling, and our training facility is 5oo% larger. This will help us continue differentiating ourselves from our competitors through aggressive training and development. In large part because of Mike’s extensive training, we are already known as The Paint Experts, and through our added space we will be able to better get the training to more people in the company.

The process of expansion used Perspectives. Here is a sampling of the intents and purposes of the expansion:

  1. Give us the space to allow us to triple our personnel without moving.
  2. Give us the ability to allow suppliers and employees to drop off supplies during off hours
  3. Expand our training facility to include projection, internet, and easy video recording capabilities
  4. Give us the ability to store our most used equipment in a more convenient area and the lesser used materials in a dedicated area in the new warehouse that will not require periodic moving because of space needs
  5. Give us the ability to eliminate technicians from disrupting office operations.
  6. Give us the ability to dedicate a room for Marketing.
  7. Give us the ability to create a quiet work area for our sales personnel

This is another demonstration of how strong perspectives can be in building a well rounded decision. The build out work required to bring the space to Resicom’s level will take place over the first 4 months of 2009.
