Tip #3.  Choose your Questions Wisely

Asking irrelevant questions can make your audience suspicious and/or lose trust in you.  Clearly explaining why you are asking a question helps remove the potential for confusion or mistrust.  The following will help you provide this clarity to your audience.

Filters:

• Why am I asking this question?
• How will I apply the information I receive from this question?
• What do I need to say to communicate my goal in asking this question?
